Kagamitsukuri-ni-masu Amaterumitama Jinja is a distinguished Shikinaisha shrine located in Tawaramoto-cho, Shiki District, Nara Prefecture. Its former shrine rank is ken-sha (prefectural shrine). The principal deities are Amaterukuniteru Hikohomei no Mikoto and Ishikoridome no Mikoto. It is believed that the Kagamitsukuri-be, a group of skilled mirror craftsmen who settled in this area during the 4th to 5th centuries, founded the shrine to honor their ancestral deities. In ancient times, mirrors were revered as sacred ritual objects, making this shrine a rare place where mirror-making traditions converge with the veneration of the solar deity's spirit. Craftsmen have long sought blessings here for the perfection of their art, and the shrine's spiritual significance endures to the present day.
