History
Kego Jinja, enshrined in the center of Tenjin, is an ancient shrine connected to Empress Jingū. True to its name, it has served the role of protecting and fortifying this land. Since ancient times, it has been revered as the tutelary shrine of Hakata, particularly known for its divine virtue in protection from misfortune and calamity.
