Tsukisamu Jinja is a shrine located in Tsukisamu, as its name suggests. The beautiful place name "Tsukisamu" is said to derive from the Ainu word "Tsukisappu." From the development era, it has been cherished as the protective kami of the region, walking alongside the development of Toyohira Ward. The precincts, surrounded by nature in all seasons, are especially beautiful in winter's snowy landscape, bringing clarity to the hearts of visitors. As the tutelary kami of the region, it is a warm shrine where many families visit for worship.
