History
Daibun Hachiman Miya is a shrine dedicated to Hachiman that has been enshrined in Daibun, Iizuka since ancient times. Enshrining Hachiman no Okami, it is known as a shrine for martial prowess and winning fortune, and has gathered the deep faith of local people. During the era when coal mining thrived in the Chikuho region, it served an important role as a place where miners prayed for safety. Even now, as the tutelary shrine of the community, it draws many visitors. From within the grounds, one can look out over the streets of Iizuka for a peaceful visit.

駐車場は広い（最初に行く時はちょっと分かりづらいかも知れません。近くに郵便局があります。車がすれ違うのに気をつけるくらい細い道ですが、鳥居が見えたら駐車場です。とても広いです。 駐車場の前には庭園がありそこにも神様が祀られているのでぜひ参拝されるのをおすすめいたします。）

この写真は年に一度行われる大神宮祭の神楽奉納を観覧した時の写真です。 神職の方々が神楽奉納をされた後に使用された道具をその場にいる人達にいただけたものです。 ９月最終日曜日は放生会があり、流鏑馬も見れます。
