History
Zaikimusawa Jinja is a shrine situated in Kamikotobaki, a nature-rich area of Tobetsu Town. As its name suggests, it is a shrine with deep connections to the forestry industry that was once thriving in this region. During the pioneer era, it became a place where people engaged in the timber business prayed for safety and the prosperity of their endeavors in this land blessed with abundant forest resources. The grounds surrounded by deep forest truly have the atmosphere of a sacred space. When one visits in prayer surrounded by the rustling of trees and pure air, a sense of gratitude for nature's blessings naturally arises.
