History

Nestled on the shores of Lake Yamanaka under Mount Fuji's watchful gaze, this temple has been a sacred place of prayer that I have long protected. Bearing the crest of the crane as a symbol of eternal life, it has drawn those devoted to the Lotus Sutra teachings. Just as Mount Fuji's reflection graces the clear waters, so too are the hearts of all visitors purified.
