Kogu Shrine stands in Ikegami, Kumagaya, enshrining an ancient deity that has long protected the local farmers. True to its name, it carries centuries of history, continuously watching over the community through the ages. Following the seasons' rhythms, I have visited this shrine many times, always sensing its steadfast protection.
