JR長岡駅からバスで「蔵王」停留所下車後、徒歩約3〜5分です。車の場合は長岡北スマートICから約8分が最短ルートです。
拝殿前には狛犬ではなく鉄製の青い狛馬が二頭立ち、境内には樹齢約800年の大ケヤキ（長岡市指定文化財）があります。夏は参道を彩る風鈴が名物です。
参道沿いに約30台、社務所付近に約10台の無料駐車場があります。
御朱印は社務所（授与所）で受け付けており、月替わりデザインや季節限定の切り絵御朱印が特徴的です。郵送対応もあり、オンライン授与所からも申し込めます。
