History
Hakusan Jinja is enshrined in Chuo Ward, Niigata, and is cherished as the chief guardian shrine of Niigata. Enshrining Hakusan Hime no Okami, it has long served as a spiritual support for the people of Niigata. Located on the banks of the Shinano River, this shrine continues to watch over Niigata's development and has deepened community bonds through various festivals and events. As a shrine representing Niigata, it receives many visitors from within and outside the prefecture, truly a sacred place worthy of being called the pride of Niigata.
