Ebetsu Jinja is a shrine situated on the rich land of the Ishikari Plain. Positioned on a high area called Hagigaoka in Ebetsu, one can view the beautiful scenery of the Ishikari River basin. This shrine has walked together with the development of agriculture since the pioneer era, continuously praying for abundant harvests and the peace of the region. The grounds, displaying beautiful appearances in each season—cherry blossoms in spring, verdant green in summer, crimson leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter—bring healing to the hearts of visitors. It is a shrine full of warm atmosphere, continually loved by the people of Ebetsu.
