History

Byakko

Toi Jinja stands at the southern tip of the Nichinan Coast, situated at a spectacular location overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean. This cape is also famous for its wild Misaki horses, representing a sacred place where nature and the divine coexist. Since ancient times, it has gathered the faith of fishermen and sailors praying for safe voyages, and together with the cape's lighthouse, has served as a guide for sea routes. The view from the shrine standing on sheer cliffs is magnificent, and those who worship here can simultaneously feel the powerful force of nature and divine blessing. The wild horses are also cherished as divine messengers.
