Ainouchi Shrine

Ainonai Shrine is enshrined in Kitami City, Hokkaido, serving as the tutelary deity for most of the former Ainonai village. It is affiliated with the Association of Shinto Shrines (under the Abashiri branch of the Hokkaido Shrine Office), and held the former rank of Mukakusha (unranked shrine). The shrine has walked alongside the development of the Kitami settlement, continuing to provide strength to worshippers even amid the harsh natural environment. It remains cherished as the local community guardian deity.
