History
This is a distinguished temple that has long been situated in Katsunuma, the homeland of Koshu grapes. It enshrines Yakushi Nyorai as its principal object of worship and has been cherished as the god of grape cultivation. Deeply connected with the rich grape cultivation of Koshu, it has gathered the faith of those wishing for abundant harvests and prosperous business. From the grounds, one can overlook the entire Kofu Basin, and the beautiful scenery of the four seasons soothes the hearts of worshippers.
