Ryumon-in Jorakuji

This temple is the 20th pilgrimage site in the Chichibu 34 pilgrimage. Its founding is ancient, said to date back to the Heian period. The principal image is Amida Nyorai, and it has long been worshipped by people wishing for rebirth in paradise. The quiet and tasteful temple grounds offer solace to visitors. It is located in a scenic spot surrounded by nature.
