History
Amefun Jinja is a shrine situated in Amefun in Kamoi-cho, Asahikawa, deeply connected with the blessings of nature. As the place name Amefun suggests, the shrine is dedicated to the deity governing the rich waters and verdant greenery of this land. Walking alongside agricultural development since pioneer times, the shrine has been beloved by local people as a shrine for abundant harvests and rain prayers.
