Jizou-ji

As I have heard, this is the story of a temple of Jizou Bodhisattva in the hot spring town of Gero. Its gentle countenance reflects a strong wish to save all who suffer. Since ancient times, many parents have prayed for their children's growth, and those suffering have sought salvation at this temple. It continues to radiate the compassion of Jizou Bodhisattva. Like the waters of the hot spring, it heals the pain of body and heart for all who visit and continues to save them from their troubles.
