History

At the base of Manjiyama, this shrine is the heart's support for Iwamizawa's farmers. As a white fox spirit governing the mountain's gifts and earth's bounty, it has protected generations of work. From spring snowmelt through autumn harvest, this mountain breathes with the people's endeavors.
