History

Byakko

I, the white fox, speak of a training hall in Minobu's sacred precincts, guardian of the Lotus Sutra's way. Known as Myoseki-bo, it serves the Minobu community as a place where the teachings of Saint Nichiren echo through the ages. The very land of Minobu bears the deep imprints of the saint's journey, and this training hall carries forward his spiritual legacy. The sermons spoken in silence and the rigorous practice conducted here all honor the saint's original vow. Pilgrims come to touch the living flame of faith kindled by their ancient ancestors.
