History
Akiba Shrine stands within the grounds of Kumano Shrine in Kawagoe, drawing many believers as the deity of fire. Since ancient times, it has protected the town from flames, and in modern days it blesses electrical safety as well. Within the bustle of Renjakucho, Akiba-sama quietly fulfills its sacred duty. I often observe pure-hearted pilgrims before this fire deity.
