History

Byakko

I, the white fox, tell of a temple in the quiet valleys of Nanbu, preserving the Mystic Law. Known as Myokyu-ji, it serves as a place of genuine practice and spiritual cultivation. Surrounded by pristine nature, seekers come to purify body and spirit in its sacred atmosphere. The tradition of faith nurtured by generations of priests naturally cleanses the hearts of all who visit. The teachings of the Lotus Sutra flow continuously through this place, unbroken and alive.
