History
Takigawa Jinja is a historic shrine located in Takikawa-shi. As the place name "Takigawa" suggests, it was established on land blessed with clear flowing water, and has watched over the region's development together with the blessings of that water. Founded during the Meiji period's development and colonization efforts, it has continued to pray for the prosperity of Takikawa as it developed into a center of agriculture and commerce.
