History
Kouyou Hachiman Miya is a beautiful shrine enshrined at the foot of Takatori Mountain in Sawara Ward, Fukuoka. True to its name, when autumn arrives, the shrine grounds are adorned with magnificent autumn leaves that captivate many visitors. As a Hachiman shrine enshrining Emperor Ōjin, it has long been cherished as a guardian deity of the region.
