渡海神社

Tokai Jinja is a Shinto shrine located in Takagami Nishimachi, Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture, formerly ranked as a Gosha (village shrine). The name "Tokai" — meaning "crossing the sea" — reflects its close ties to the ocean, a fitting name for a shrine in Choshi, one of Japan's foremost fishing ports.
