Bizen Kokusos Miya has been revered since ancient times as the chief guardian deity of Bizen Province. It enshrines many deities from throughout Bizen Province and has served the important role of protecting this entire region. Located near the center of Okayama, it has been cherished as a center of faith for the local people. Ancient and elegant rituals are performed here, making it an important place that conveys Bizen's traditional culture to the present day. Visitors can purify their hearts before the deity and offer their daily gratitude.
