History

Byakko

A temple rooted in the ancient settlement of Yaneyamone. True to its name meaning 'celebrating light,' this is where people gathered seeking illumination. Darkness too teaches us light. In ancient poetry we know, it is said that without shadow there is no light. Visitors shall learn to accept both shadow and light within their hearts. Then naturally light rises from deep within, illuminating their whole life.
