History
Enoki Sha is a subsidiary shrine situated within the same grounds as Kushida Jinja in Kamikawahata-cho, Hakata Ward. It is an unusual shrine with an enoki tree as its sacred object, and has been beloved by local people since ancient times as a deity of love and marriage. The devotion of those seeking love fulfillment is particularly strong, and a tradition of offering prayers to the enoki tree with wishes continues to this day. Known as a small yet spiritually efficacious shrine, it has a history of supporting the hearts of people living in Hakata. If you worship at both Enoki Sha and Kushida Jinja together, even greater blessings may be received.
