History

Byakko

Shokyouzan means a mountain of enlightenment where the heart is reflected like a mirror. Known as Zensei-in, this temple serves as a place of practice for those who face their inner selves. I have visited here many times and know the profound depths of meditation practiced here. The continuing work of self-reflection, forgetting the ego to glimpse true nature, persists to this day.
