Sekigan-ji is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. Its temple name is Sekigan-zan (Red Rock Mountain), and the principal image is a Kannon Bodhisattva. The temple is particularly renowned for housing a seated wooden statue of Aizen Myoo, designated as a National Important Cultural Property. Set against rugged red stone cliffs, the temple has long served as a place of esoteric Buddhist practice and training. Worshippers come to pray for fulfillment in love and protection from misfortune.
