Genzo-ji

Genzo-ji is a temple with a quiet and generous atmosphere, situated amidst the serene landscapes of Chichibu. Founded long ago, it has been a spiritual refuge for the local community. Its principal image is Amida Nyorai, believed to grant wishes, ensure family safety, and bestow longevity. The ancient trees within the temple grounds lend a profound sense of charm. I too was able to rest my mind, forgetting the passage of time in its quiet space. It is a hidden gem of Chichibu.
