History
Kunifure Jinja is an ancient shrine enshrined in the deep mountains of Takachiho. Takachiho is known as the holy land of the descent of the heavenly grandson, and the land of Kunifure is likewise filled with a divine presence. The place name Kunifure means "to feel the divine will," and it has been regarded as a sacred place from ancient times where the will of the gods is communicated. Due to its remote mountain location, visitors can enjoy quiet communion with the deity, far from the clamor of the secular world. The beauty woven by nature through the four seasons is the very image of a sacred realm.

駐車場は狭い - 神社に着く時にナビを気をつけて見ておかないと通り過ぎるかも知れません。かなり奥深いので、靴も履き慣れたものかおすすめです。森林浴がてらゆっくり参拝出来ます。
Visit Notes
高千穂神社で一緒に御朱印をお願い出来ます。 高天原遥拝所（たかまがはらようはいじょ）もあり、天孫降臨の場とも言われる諸説もある神社。空気が澄んでいました。
駐車場から神殿まではかなり歩きます。 森林浴もしながら凛とした空気を吸えるのでパワースポットとも言えます。 天孫降臨後、神々が遥拝した場所といわれている「高天原（たかまがはら）」があります。
