History
Zenraku-ji is known as the thirtieth temple of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage and is an ancient Shingon Buddhist temple. It has been revered since ancient times as the principal shrine of Tosa Province, and it is said that Kobo Daishi Kukai also practiced here. From its distinguished position as the principal shrine, it has been positioned as an important sacred site protecting all of Tosa Province. Many pilgrims visit seeking peace of mind and the fulfillment of their wishes, offering prayers in its serene grounds.

駐車場への進入路は約200mの一車線で、対向車がいないことを確認してから進入します。隣接する土佐神社の駐車場は別なので使用できません。
子安地蔵堂の左、梅の木の下にある「梅見地蔵」は首から上の病・試験合格に御利益があるとされる珍しい地蔵です。
大師堂の弘法大師像は廃仏毀釈の際に墨で黒く塗られて難を逃れたもので、「厄除け大師」として厄除け・交通安全祈願の参拝者が多く訪れます。
