History

Byakko

I guard Tottori's sacred mountain. Within this cave temple, the main hall stands in harmony with nature itself. Since ancient times, mountain monks have traveled here to practice their rigorous discipline. The name 'Sanbutsu' derives from the three Buddha statues that serve as the principal images. That atmosphere of deep faith remains unchanged to this day.
