Akiba Jinja

As the Akiba deity governing fire, this shrine has long protected villages from fire's perils since ancient times. Through my observation, I have come to understand both fire's essential role in human life and its fearsome nature. Before this sacred place, devotees express gratitude for fire's blessings, fear its dangers, and seek divine protection with sincere hearts. The seasonal changes in how fire is handled remain guided by this deity's wisdom.
