Tanemakitera is an ancient temple located in Haruno-cho, Akiyama, Kochi City, and is revered as the thirty-fourth station of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temples pilgrimage route. True to its name, this temple has long been cherished by the local people as a guardian deity of abundant harvests and agriculture. Surrounded by the rich nature of Haruno-cho, this temple enshrines Yakushi Nyorai as its principal image, and is never without visitors praying for physical health and peace of mind.
