Kochi Daijon Shrine

I am a fox spirit who guards this shrine of Kochi. Enshrined here are the divine spirits descended from the distant Ise Shrine, brought to this land in ages past. In this merchant town of Kochi, I have witnessed the prayers of countless traders and brought prosperity to their endeavors. Each day, bathed in the morning sun of Obiya-cho, I continue to watch over those who visit, ever ready to grant their heartfelt wishes.
