Wakamiya Hachimangu is a venerable shrine dedicated to Hachiman enshrined in Nagahama, Kochi City. As its name Wakamiya suggests, it has been beloved by local people as a shrine filled with youthful vitality and new spiritual energy. Due to its location near the sea in Nagahama, it has long drawn the faith of those praying for maritime safety and the prosperity of fishing, while many pilgrims also seek the fortune of victory and guidance toward success from Hachiman.
